Armstrong Gallery is pleased to announce the release  of the first 180 of the  archived  Chinese Ink series.    These previously unreleased multi-medium  works represent the innovative and eclectic works of famed artist Duane Armstrong during his artistic explorations of the 1970s and 1980s.

These important, collectable works are further enhanced with multiple layered custom framing using the finest Italian mouldings.  Each frame is specifically designed to enhance the specific work within, creating a complete artistic statement.   Art image size is 16″ x 16″ and overall dimensions vary, but are typically 30″ x 30 “.

Some images may be currently viewed in Duane’s gallery under abstract/Chinese Inks, with more to be posted soon.  Alternatively, collectors with a specific style or effect in mind may request a specific search.  Each is at an  initial offering price of $16,500.00.

Selected works from Cal Poly’s 1.3 million dollar collection of the art of Duane and Annie Armstrong will be on display at Envisions Gallery, in Atascadero California, from September 1st through the 30t.h.

An artist’s reception for Duane and Annie will be held at the gallery September 13th beginning at 5:00 pm.

In addition to the works on display, a complete catalog of  Cal Poly’s  59 piece collection will be available in order to arrange viewings of other pieces.

Duane & Annie Armstrong’s artwork will appear in an upcoming episode of the Home & Garden Television’s “Extreme Homes”!  The paintings will be shown in the home of Dr. Modir in California in the “Bubbles Bottles and Bookcases” episode airing December 13th, 2012. Check your local listings for “Extreme Homes” show times in your area, and keep your eyes peeled for Duane and Annie’s amazing work!
